Last Sunday in church we examined Paul's description of how a Christian should act from Romans 12:9-21. I suggested we all stick it on our bathroom mirrors. Remember? 'course ya do!
As a result Nadine typed up a copy of the reading to go beside the bed of her son Axel (about 5 months?), so that he can grow up living by these principles. That's good news!

GOOD NEWS AND GOSSIP
This post is inviting anyone from our parish community to share good news or gossip. It may seem strange to encourage gossip but lets face it, that's what we're all interested in!
The gossip must, of course, also be good, and only about yourself not others. I hope this is something people will catch on to as a way to share some of the positive stories from their own lives or from our parish. There are a couple of good news stories below to get you going with photos on the side bar.
If you have good news or good gossip just click on "comments" immediately below, leave your story and sign with your first name. Enjoy!

Children's Ministry Growing
An exciting and enthusiastic Children's Ministry meeting was held at the Minchin Centre on Wednesday August 3rd. It was attended by parents of (SPY) Swan Parish Youth members and parents interested in extending the Children's Ministry offered at All Saints.
The SPY parents explored and discussed ways in which they can support the goals of SPY in building leadership and responsibility in our youth and encouraging their Christian journey.
Some enthusiastic All Saints parents discussed the need for Sunday School at All Saints and have planned a meeting for September 11th after church to float this idea with a larger group of parents.
Stay tuned for further news!
