Youth Lead the Way

The young people have been one of the most active sections of our parish this year. The Swan Parish Youth enjoyed a fantastic afternoon at Lake Leschenaultia last weekend, to celebrate the end of a year of learning, service, physical, and fun activity.  Even this week Ben Miles, Isaac Johnston and Chris Fenner attended a Christmas review and planning session with the Perth Young Christian Students.

The Young Adults Group have also been very active and shown that giving and service are cornerstones of the Christmas spirit.  A group of young adults recently attended the monthly service at the Pines Retirement Village to sing carols for the residents - which was a real blast for everyone involved.  Also they ran the sausage sizzle at the parish Carols by Candlelight which significantly boosted the donations to the Christmas Bowl.   We celebrate the fact that the young in our parish have been leading the way in Christian service and community building.  We have much to be thankful for.
