Some of the blokes of the parish had a great time last weekend at the Men and Boys Camp held at Koora Retreat Centre. The usual highlights - great food, big campfire, teamwork and camaraderie, humour, desert dust and spirit, fun, were all in good supply. However it was the discussions we had which particularly stood out this year. We followed the story of Parsiful's quest for thr Holy Grail, exploring what this means for the male spiritual journey. The discussions were amazing and engaged the imaginations of both young and old.
The experience was topped off on the Sunday night when a refreshing dam swim, on a balmy afternoon, was followed by a thunderstorm and rain viewed from the top of Boorabbin Rock.
Thanks to all the guys who came and made it such a special weekend. See pics on the right.
